Would you like to feel great?

Massage Therapy is an integral part of health and wellness

I can help reduce stress, relieve chronic pain, and increase the quality of your life.

For people looking to naturally manage their chronic pain, massage therapy can improve quality of life by impacting mood as well as manage the pain and other benefits. When you live with chronic pain, having a toolbox of strategies you turn to for pain relief is important.

Massage can be a powerful tool for relaxing both mind and body.

Increases serotonin, which reduces pain naturally
Naturally increases deep sleep
Increases range of motion
Lowers anxiety and improves mood

Did you know that most Americans experience neck, back and muscle pain from another less-strenuous activity?

Surprisingly, it's sitting. Chronic back pain, which is the second most common cause of disability and a top reason for missing work, can be the result of improper posture while sitting and standing.

Additionally, carrying extra weight, poor posture, and repetitive or overuse movements can put strain on the back and other sensitive areas. This strain often results in spasms, tense muscles and pain in your upper back, hips, glutes and hamstrings.

Massage is no longer viewed as a luxury.

It’s more than a pampering and relaxing indulgence.

Massage Therapy has become a necessity and tremendous way of promoting healing and over all well-being.

I specialize in customized treatments to meet the needs of a wide variety of clients in a comfortable down-to-earth setting. I hope that you feel at ease whether you are a first-time recipient of massage or a regular client.

Massage Therapy is one of the oldest healing modalities and is still the most sought after therapy for pain and stress reduction.

Stress is the leading cause of disease. Muscle tension can put stress on the body’s structural system and cause pain, injury, and long term damage to the body. It can also stress the cardiovascular system, nervous system, digestion system, and immune system, resulting in weaker, less-resistant health.

I strive to enable our clients to help themselves achieve balance, joy and serenity in their lives along with facilitating healing in times of injury and dysfunction.

Restorative therapies, such as massage therapy, produce the best results when the client feels comfortable, peaceful and respected and they have confidence in their practitioner’s knowledge and experience.

Massage Therapy is one of the few therapies where sleeping or dozing off is not only encouraged but a huge compliment.

Our excellent reputation and our commitment to our field is a testament to our dedication to providing exemplary massage therapy services to our community.

If you’ve never had a massage, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. We look forward to serving you soon. Call today to schedule an appointment and consider making massage a regular part of your health maintenance plan.

What can I expect from a massage?

You can expect to have your massage in a safe, nurturing environment.
You can expect to feel peaceful, totally relaxed and calm afterwards.
You can expect to be listened to – you are the one who knows your body.

I cannot "fix” you, since you are not broken. I can assist your body in finding its way to optimal health through stress-relief and relaxation. I view my clients as whole, and hold that vision for them.

What happens during a session?

You’ll start the session by filling out some confidential paperwork, and we will discuss your goals, even if it is just to relax and de-stress. You will then be left alone in the massage room to undress to your level of comfort.

You’ll get on the massage table, where you will cover yourself up with the sheet and blankets. I don’t enter the room until you tell me that you are ready. There is music playing in the background, unless you prefer silence. When the massage is done, I leave the room for you to re-dress in private.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my session?

It helps to be well hydrated, so be sure to drink plenty of fluids the day before and day of your massage.

Is it OK to talk during my session?

That is totally up to you. I will occasionally ask a few questions, pertaining to your comfort level, and how you are feeling. I have learned that some people relax by talking, others prefer to have their massage in silence. It’s your massage – you get to decide if you want to talk or not. Often times people will start out talking, then "drift away” as the massage proceeds. Whatever helps you to relax the most is best.

How often should I get a massage?

That really depends on what your goals are, and your budget. I recommend getting a massage at least once or twice a month, as the effects are cumulative.

A few of my clients come in once a week, most of them come in every other week, some every 3 weeks, and some once a month. All of them recognize the importance of self-care, and the health benefits that they enjoy from receiving massage on a regular basis.
Should I refer my friends and family?

Yes, referrals are an important part of our business. I appreciate the trust you put in me, and promise to take care of your friends and family as well as I take care of you.
